Green People ∙ Advanced Pro-Collagen Skin Defence Supplement
Green People
You’ve found your cleanser, committed to a serum and finally made SPF part of the morning routine. What’s next? Green People’s Advanced Pro-Collagen Skin Defence offers something a little different: a vegan supplement you can take with a meal, alongside your usual skincare habits.
At its heart is Vollagen, a fermentation-derived blend of 18 amino acids, formulated to resemble the amino-acid profile of human Type I collagen. The idea is to provide building blocks the body uses in its own collagen-forming processes—a particularly interesting option if you’ve been curious about collagen supplements and prefer a vegan formula.
The recommended two capsules contain 1,000mg of Vollagen. There’s vitamin C to support normal collagen formation, plus zinc and copper, which help maintain normal skin and connective tissues respectively. Iron, grape seed extract and SOD are included too, chosen to support normal body functions and the formula’s antioxidant focus. Green People lists the quantities clearly, so you know what you’re taking.
The idea grew out of Green People founder Charlotte Vøhtz’s experience as a mother. After her daughter Alexandra was diagnosed with Ehlers–Danlos syndrome, a connective tissue disorder, Charlotte wanted to understand everything she could about collagen. That experience sparked a lasting interest in the nutrients that support normal collagen formation, inspiring this supplement for everyday skin health, dedicated to Alexandra’s memory.
Green People suggests giving it around eight to twelve weeks of daily use before assessing any changes in your skin. It’s designed to complement a balanced diet, your usual skincare and daily SPF. Two capsules a day, taken with whichever meal suits you. Nothing to mix or measure, so it’s easy to fit into your day.
What draws us to this launch is how well it fits into everyday life. The vegan formula is thoughtfully put together, the ingredients are clearly explained, and the capsules are convenient to take. For anyone interested in exploring nutritional skincare, there’s plenty here to get curious about.
The skincare companions
For your bathroom shelf, there’s the Age Defy+ Collagen Boost Vitamin C Serum. It’s dermatologically tested and shown to be kind to sensitive skin. There’s vitamin C for a brighter complexion and sodium hyaluronate to help keep skin hydrated, plus bakuchi oil for antioxidant support. It has a fresh, floral scent from the essential oils.
Follow with the Age Defy+ Daily SPF30 Moisturiser. It has a silky texture and a lovely, fresh floral scent. There’s rosehip and pomegranate oil to nourish the skin, plus aloe vera and edelweiss, alongside SPF30 protection. Use it after your serum, remembering to reapply throughout the day as directed.
The serum and SPF moisturiser make appealing companions, bringing brightening ingredients, hydration and sun protection into the mix. It’s a considered way to build on your existing skincare routine.
